Here’s how it works

Step 1
Pick + Prep Your Template
Take a stroll through the templates and pick your favorite. Why not start with a cup, a planter or a small dish? Print the template at 100% scale, then cut out each piece with scissors.

Step 2
Roll, Place + Cut
Roll your clay flat with a rolling pin (think cookie dough thickness). Place the paper templates on the clay and cut around them with a knife or clay tool. Let sit for 20-30 minutes or longer until firm but still bendable.

Step 3
Scratch, Glue + Stick
Scratch all edges where pieces will connect. Paint clay glue (we’ll show you how to make it) on the scratches. Press pieces together firmly. Smooth the joints with your finger.

Step 4
Finishing Touches
Now let your masterpiece dry fully before firing in a kiln. If you don’t have easy access, we’ve got templates you can use with air-dry clay!

Fire is for people with kiln access (or planning to get one). You'll make food-safe plates, glazed mugs, permanent pottery that can handle actual dinner parties. Air is for people without a kiln—everything's optimized for air-dry clay. Make planters, decorative bowls, that cool trinket dish your keys live in. Both clubs get the same love, same value, just different clay destinies.

Yep! Life changes. Maybe you get a kiln. Maybe you move apartments and lose kiln access. Email us anytime and we'll switch you over. You'll get whatever templates are left in the year for your new club. Easy.

Absolutely. Our shop has everything—solo templates (€5.90-9.90) and collections (€15.90-26.90). Browse, buy what you want, make it. No commitment needed. Members just get 25% off because, well, they're committed to the journey.Even better. Our templates are designed for people who've never touched clay before. The video guides walk you through every single step.

No stress! You can still use Fire templates with air-dry clay—you just won't be able to make food-safe pieces. But decorative stuff? Totally fine. Or email us and we'll switch you to Air. We're flexible.

All of them, yeah! You just can't put food in them or get them wet (air-dry isn't waterproof). So that dinner plate becomes a wall decoration. That mug becomes a pencil holder. Still beautiful, just different vibes. If you want full flexibility, stick with Fire. If you know you're air-dry only, go Air.

It's a set of 3D-printed pottery tools we designed specifically for slab building. Small, useful, kinda cute. You get it when you join (yearly members only). It's our way of saying "welcome, you're one of us now."
